Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and (for Daycares) your business address, license number, and billing details. When you send or approve an invoice we collect the details of that invoice.

When a Substitute connects a payout account, Stripe collects the Substitute's Social Security Number, date of birth, and bank account or debit card number directly. Stripe stores that information; Rellim PayKonnect never sees the full values, only a masked reference (e.g. last 4 digits).

When a Daycare pays an invoice, Stripe collects the card or bank account information directly. Again, Rellim PayKonnect never stores full payment card numbers.

We also automatically collect basic technical information (IP address, user agent, timestamps) to keep the Platform secure and diagnose problems.

2. How we use your information

To operate the Platform: create accounts, send invoices, process payments, generate receipts and PDFs, keep records, and answer support questions.

To comply with our legal obligations: tax reporting (e.g. issuing 1099 forms where required), responding to lawful requests from courts or regulators, and protecting the Platform against fraud.

To communicate with you about your account, transactions, or material changes to the Platform. We do not sell or rent your personal information to marketers.

3. Who we share it with

Stripe, Inc. (payment processing and Substitute payout onboarding)

Supabase (our authentication and database provider)

Resend (transactional email delivery)

Vercel (our web hosting provider)

These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security terms. We do not share your data with anyone else except as required by law or with your consent.

4. How we protect it

All connections to the Platform are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Databases are encrypted at rest by our provider. Access to production systems is limited to designated administrators using multi-factor authentication. All actions taken by administrators are logged in an append-only audit trail.

Despite our efforts, no system is perfectly secure. If we discover a data breach affecting your information we will notify you promptly and take reasonable remedial action.

5. Data retention

We retain account and transaction records for at least seven years after the last activity, primarily to satisfy tax, accounting, and audit obligations. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@rellimkidkarekonnect.com; we will delete personal data not required for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@rellimkidkarekonnect.com. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights (such as under the California Consumer Privacy Act). We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.

7. Cookies

We use only strictly-necessary session cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against forgery attacks. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Platform is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently done so we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will post the new version at pay.rellimkidkarekonnect.com/privacy and update the "Last updated" date. Substantive changes may require re-consent at your next login.
